Semarang is the capital of Central Java in Indonesia. This picturesque city derives its name from the Javanese words "asem" and "arang" which literary translate to "scarce tamarind." All of these hospitals have excellent medical facilities. The doctors and nurses are well trained and caring. All of these hospitals have adequate number of beds. There are various departments in all of the above hospitals like orthopedic department, cardiology department, pediatric department, gynecological department, ENT specialist and many others. There are Intensive care Units in them. You will also get blood in the blood banks in the hospitals. Many medicine shops have been set up in the area adjoining the hospitals. Of all the hospitals, RS Umum Pusat Dr. Kariadi Hospital is the most important. It is located in Jl. Dr. Sutomo No. 16. Dr. Kariadi Hospital also adopts children. It has adopted many children over the years. Parents who wish a child to be adopted submit a letter of transfer to the hospital. Parents who wish to adopt also submit a letter and a health certificate.
